How NI Accident Management Raised £5,000 for Families in Need in Belfast
The festive season is a time of joy, celebration, and togetherness. Yet, for many families, Christmas can also be a period of financial strain and uncertainty. At, NI Accident Management, we believe in using our platform to make a positive difference in the lives of others in Belfast and across Northern Ireland. That’s why, for Christmas 2024, we launched a fundraising initiative with a single goal: to bring a little magic to families facing difficult circumstances.
We’re delighted to share that, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised £2,500 in donations—and by matching every pound, we doubled that amount to reach a final total of £5,000. This achievement would not have been possible without the support of individuals, businesses, and partners who came together to make Christmas brighter for those in need.
Why NI Accident Management Chose to Give Back
Community is at the heart of everything we do. While NI Accident Management is best known for supporting clients after road traffic accidents, we also recognise the importance of supporting people outside of our day-to-day services. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is about more than policies or pledges—it’s about action, compassion, and making a tangible difference.
We always feel that Christmas, with its focus on family and togetherness, is a particularly meaningful time to give back. We knew that many families across Northern Ireland would be struggling to put food on the table or gifts under the tree, and we wanted to help ease that burden. By partnering with a trusted organisation, we could ensure that donations went directly to those who needed them most.
NI Accident Management Partnering with The Salvation Army in Belfast
To bring our initiative to life, NI Accident Management decided to partner with The Salvation Army, a charity that has long been a source of hope and support for vulnerable people across the UK. With a presence in communities throughout Northern Ireland, The Salvation Army provides practical help for families, from food parcels and emergency accommodation to long-term support for those facing homelessness or hardship.
For our campaign, we worked specifically with Grosvenor House and Glen Alva Hostels, both of which provide vital services to families in crisis. Funds raised through the initiative were used to provide vouchers, food, and toys, helping parents create a proper Christmas celebration for their children.
Our Christmas Fundraising Appeal
We launched our campaign in December with the theme “Let’s Make Christmas Magical for Families in Need”. The message was simple but powerful: every donation, whether large or small, would go twice as far thanks to our pledge to match contributions.
In 2023, our community raised nearly £2,000 in just over a week. That generosity inspired us to aim higher in 2024, setting a fundraising target of £5,000. We encouraged people to get involved by donating, sharing our posts on social media, and spreading the word among friends, families, and colleagues.
The response was overwhelming. Within days, donations began to pour in from across Northern Ireland. Local businesses, including @missglambelfast, @holywoodflooring, @boydricesolicitors, and Bronagh McShane, stepped forward with generous contributions and organisational support. Their involvement gave the campaign additional momentum and helped us reach a wider audience.
The Results: £5,000 Raised
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we raised £2,500 in donations before the deadline. True to our promise, NI Accident Management matched this amount pound for pound, bringing the total to an incredible £5,000.
This funding was split between Grosvenor House and Glen Alva Hostels, directly supporting families in residence. With food vouchers, gift cards, and toys, parents were able to enjoy a Christmas that otherwise might not have been possible. For children, it meant waking up to the excitement of gifts under the tree and the joy of festive traditions. For parents, it provided relief and reassurance at a time when financial pressures can feel overwhelming.
A Collective Effort
While we are proud of what we achieved as a company, this success truly belongs to everyone who contributed. From the individuals who donated online, to the businesses who gave generously, to those who shared our posts and encouraged others to get involved—each act of kindness played a part in making this campaign a success.
Looking Ahead
At NI Accident Management, we’re committed to building on this momentum in Belfast and across Northern Ireland. This campaign is just one part of our broader commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and we will continue to look for ways to give back to the communities we serve.
The £5,000 raised in 2024 is a testament to the power of collective generosity. Together, we’ve shown that when people come together with compassion and purpose, it is possible to create real change and spread hope where it’s needed most.
A Final Thank You
To everyone who donated, supported, or shared our campaign—thank you. Because of you, families across Grosvenor House and Glen Alva Hostels were able to experience the joy of Christmas. Your kindness has left a lasting impact, proving that the true spirit of the festive season lies in giving.
